You, as a skilled worker are recruited abroad and subsequently qualified for the labor market in Germany. Your future employers who are looking for skilled workers are supported by the IB partner organizations abroad, which take over the pre-selection process. Your recruitment as e.g. nursing staff in hospitals, is done by the IB, its partner organizations and the client (hospitals).
The companies define the criteria for the job profile in cooperation with the partners in the respective countries. Mostly you will be integrated as professionals from EU and non-EU countries into the life and work in Germany. Your election takes place after a pre-selection in your home country. The IB especially considers your qualification level. You should have at least the required professional education, the corresponding university degree and the necessary academic requirements.
The IB also supports also you, as a young adult from abroad, in your search for an apprenticeship in Germany. Similar to the search for skilled workers abroad, the IB is responsible for your accommodation, language qualification, integration and support. The IB focuses especially on supporting regions with high unemployment in order to offer the young adults a perspective for the future. Special attention is paid to your minimum qualifications. The prerequisite is the general university entrance qualification (Abitur). Suitable applicants are selected together with the employer in the respective country or via online meeting. In some cases, there are also funding opportunities, for example through the Employment Agency. A check of the prerequisites is carried out in advance.
As a skilled worker, you have acquired the appropriate qualification in your home country that you would like to practice in Germany.
Several years of work experience have a positive effect on professional recognition.
Interest in the German language and culture is an advantage in the integration process and essential in the long term.
